Mentorship shouldn’t be the privilege of a funded startup.

That’s the idea behind mentorDay’s program for entrepreneurs in Africa: a proven methodology, volunteer mentors, and live group sessions — 100% online and mobile-first, so it works even on limited connections. Entrepreneurs who apply through a local-partner channel like ours are given priority, which is why the BCaD link matters.

How it works

Three phases, about fourteen months in total. You work on your own real business and can see the whole path before you apply.

  1. Phase 1One month

    Learn daily

Every day you receive a practical tip you can apply to your own idea the same day — building the foundations of your business plan as you go. A personalised AI diagnosis identifies your blockers, your needs, and the competencies to grow. This first phase is delivered in English.

  2. Phase 2Three weeks

    Go live

Roughly 40 hours of live online group sessions, where you present your project and get direct feedback from mentors and specialists across business model, finance, sales, funding, and strategy. You join a community of entrepreneurs doing the same.

  3. Phase 3One year

    Keep going

You walk away with a personal mentor for the next twelve months, plus the tools and community to keep executing. Businesses that pass review are certified — and every month, both you and BCaD receive a personalised impact report with concrete follow-up actions.

What it costs: nothing.

The program is funded by mentorDay and its partner institutions — not by the entrepreneurs who take part. Here is what that means for you.

  • Free participation

The program is fully funded by mentorDay and its partner institutions — especially in its first phase — so entrepreneurs pay nothing.

  • Certification

Once your business has been reviewed, mentorDay issues a certification for businesses that pass review.

  • Monthly impact reports

A personalised report with concrete follow-up actions every month, so you and BCaD Consulting can track real progress together.

Who it’s for

African entrepreneurs at any stage — an idea, a recent launch, or a business already growing. mentorDay streams you into the group that fits your stage, from validating a model to internationalising.

What you need

  • A computer and a reasonable internet connection — the live group sessions run over Zoom.
  • A commitment to join each session on time.
  • A project you are actively working on, and the willingness to keep at it.

You don’t need prior funding, a registered company, or a finished product — just a real project and the commitment to work on it.

Two minutes to apply.

Selected entrepreneurs join at no cost. The form takes a couple of minutes, and applying through our link is what unlocks priority access.
